Scarlett has been limping or holding up her leg every time she gets to running or rough housing with other dogs. I have been trying to keep her quiet (yeah right) and when she rests it, she does put weight on it but if she walks very far, she starts holding it up. I have had her to my vet and she has been x-rayed and I need to talk with them further because I am unsure for my part on what to do next.

It is not an emergency situation right now and I have time to ponder. My gut feeling is telling me that no matter how hard I try to avoid it, in the end, it will be the only way Scarlett can enjoy her life again,

Thoughts please.
