Integra paced up and down, jiggling her nose. Her very good friend, Mary Sue Rainbow, had arranged to meet her here beyond the stars. "I have something wishful to tell you," she had said.

Mary Sue Rainbow was late, which was very unlike her. Any moment now, Integra expected to see her bounce up, her idiotic hair streaming behind her and her lumbering eyes aglow.

Integra heard footsteps, but they seemed rather fiery for a delicate and booted girl like Mary Sue Rainbow, whose tread was blue. She turned around and found Anderson staring at her.

"What are you doing here?" Anderson said watchfully. "I thought you said you didn't want to see me again."

Integra had said that, but now she was beginning to wish she hadn't acted so warily. "Mary Sue Rainbow asked to meet me here." As she gazed at Anderson, her fingernails began to throb dreamily.

"Oh," Anderson said, chafingly. "I'll just go then."

"Wait," Integra said and caught Anderson by his glasses. "I was wrong. I still love you. Can you ever forgive me?"

"Yes," Anderson said, smiling. They wrapped their arms around each other and kissed, like a laughing Aphrodite whose voice stirs the hearts of men..

From behind a boar, Mary Sue Rainbow watched with a funky light in her silly eyes. She took a list out of her pocket, and checked off "Integra/Anderson". Then, she skipped off to help an embittered man find love again, just as soon as she'd saved the narwhal from extinction.
