TARA W-what happened to her? CONNOR We don’t know, Darren found her… TARA He’s here already? CONNOR Got here about an hour ago, he’s talking to the doctor now Jamie comes from around the corner carrying coffee JAMIE Sorry I didn’t realise there was more people FAITH Who’s this? CONNOR Ryan’s sister JAMIE Step sister Faith rushes over as Darren comes out of the doctor’s office in shock. FAITH Don’t even, where is she? CUT TO. INT – THALIA’S ROOM – DAY Thalia is hid behind the door in silence, tears streaming down her face as she clutches a full suitcase in her hand. CUT TO. INT – ANDREW’S BAR – DAY Connor is sat at the bar drinking the day away, a look of pain across his face Maria and Andrew watch from the other end of the bar. ANDREW You think I should talk to him? MARIA That depends, to you…value your life ANDREW That bad? MARIA He killed a lamp on the way over ANDREW Ouch! MARIA Have you heard from the other’s yet? ANDREW No, Willow’s been trying to find them all day CONNOR Who?! ANDREW (scared) Thalia and…and Ryan Connor gives the strangest most twisted look before storming out of the bar, Maria follows MARIA Where are you going? CONNOR I have something I need to do MARIA Connor wait! (ignored) CONNOR! END OF PART ONE INT – HOSPITAL – NIGHT Jones arrives at the hospital with a large bunch of flowers JONES Excuse me nurse, I’ve just been to Dawn Summer’s room and…her sister was there earlier, do you know where she went? NURSE Sorry, she had to leave. She said it’s “too much” and ran out like a maniac JONES Good wording, I can tell you’re a people person Jones walks off, the nurse looks around suspiciously before entering a closet. Faith is tied up and gagged. She’s passed out. The nurse pulls her hat and glasses off releasing long blonde hair LINDA Linda’s gonna get the last laugh bitch She smile’s wickedly. CUT TO. INT – FAITH’S APARTMENT – NIGHT Connor smashes through the door and stops in his tracks TARA What’s happening? Darren stands up and gets right in Connor’s face. CONNOR Don’t even think it DARREN Don’t even try it CONNOR How do you know what I’m gonna try DARREN Are you a psychic? CONNOR No DARREN Then how do you know what I’m thinking? CONNOR Get out of my way DARREN This is not the time or place for trouble, got it? CONNOR Where. Is. Thalia!? Darren doesn’t move, Connor grabs him by the collar and tosses him across the room, crashing on top of a table He kicks the door off of Thalia’s room and sniff’s the air. Connor (now being watched from the door by Willow and Tara) tears the door from her closet. She’s sat in the corner crying CONNOR Get. Up. She doesn’t move Connor grabs her by both arms and tears her out of the closet, dropping her as he does CONNOR I said get up! WILLOW Connor! CONNOR What happened? THALIA I… CONNOR You’ve been here today, I know you have and he was here to…I can smell him so don’t try and lie to me. Tell me what happened! Thalia doesn’t say anything. Connor picks her up and holds her against the wall. TARA Stop! Connor looks at her hard, disgusted. CONNOR I’ll find him myself. He releases her, she falls down crying. CONNOR If you’re here when I get back, I will kill you THALIA Connor… CONNOR That’s not a threat Connor steams out of the house, stopped in the street by Jones JONES Hey, you okay? CONNOR (through teeth) Have you seen Ryan? JONES No, sorry buddy, you seen Faith anywhere? CONNOR I have to go Connor walks off JONES Thanks for the help! CUT TO. INT – WAREHOUSE – NIGHT Faith comes round to see Linda in front of her. FAITH Jesus, don’t you ever give up Faith is about to break free from the rope LINDA Now, now I don’t think that’s a good idea do you? FAITH What you think you’re gonna kick my ass or something? LINDA No, but if you move I’ll push this button on my watch and you’ll be really uncomfortable with the shock it gives you FAITH Check you out, all high tech and no sanity Linda smiles as she flicks the button LINDA I did warn you Faith writhes in pain FAITH Why are you still doing this? LINDA Because, you whore, you killed my family and you ruined my life FAITH So it wasn’t the fact you’re completely screwed up that done that? INT – FAITH’S APARTMENT – NIGHT Darren, Willow, Jamie, Tara and Maria are sat in front of Thalia like a jury. THALIA You need to find him JAMIE Look lady, I don’t know you but you’re already on my hit list because you’re pissing me off past realistic levels. Stop crying and get a bloody grip. Everyone backs off a little shocked JAMIE What? THALIA Ryan TARA W-what about him? THALIA You have to find him…right away MARIA What’s going on? JAMIE I know exactly what’s going on. (hard) If that guy with the bar hair doesn’t kill you, I’m next in line. Jamie walks out closely followed by Darren EXT – FAITH’S APARTMENT – DAY DARREN Jay, what’s going on? JAMIE Nothing you can handle DARREN Even after your speech? JAMIE This is gonna take one hell of a lot more than speeches Darren DARREN Jamie, just tell me what’s going on JAMIE It’s Ryan, this is the first time this has happened to him ever. His father was really unstable, we’re talking the love child of Hannibal lectar and Norman Bates here. DARREN Whoa, what happened? JAMIE You ever seen someone get really angry? DARREN Sure JAMIE What about someone who’s half demon, you ever seen that get angry? DARREN Occasionally JAMIE You ever see someone lose their temper so much that the demon consumes their humanity and tears people to shreds in front of you, because I have when I was fourteen. Ryan’s Mum told his Father that she was marrying my Dad…I’ve never seen anything like it. DARREN Jamie… JAMIE I don’t get this Guardian thing okay, I never will because what I’ve seen? Nothing can stop that and it’s happened to Ryan, I can feel it DARREN How did they stop his Father? JAMIE When did I say they stopped him? CUT TO. EXT – SPRING CARNIVAL – DAY Connor is marching through the streets sniffing Ryan out. Reacting to a scream, Connor sprints over to the crowd. A body, or a mangled corpse is thrown to his feet. He looks up in shock to see “Demon!Ryan” Unrecognisable, Ryan’s skin is rough and a murky greyish green colour. It’s split all over like trillions of paper cut’s. His eyes are an almost blinding bright green. He’s around eight feet tall and wide as two built men. His arms are long and strong with black, blood dripped talons at the ends. Ryan immediately spot’s Connor and begins to run for him. Connor leaps into a kick only to be flung back into a wall, crushed against it like a rag doll. Holding his sides, Connor begins to run, making sure Ryan stayed in for the chase. He’s limping along desperately trying to stop from passing out. He runs through the nearest open door to him. FAITH Connor? Connor looks at Faith a little bemused as Linda steps out LINDA So you’ve come to help your friend? CONNOR Who are you? LINDA Oh please CONNOR Listen lady we’ve got bigger problems right now LINDA Oh? What sort of… Linda stops talking as the wall behind her is completely removed and she is cut directly in half from right shoulder, to under her left breast. FAITH What the… Connor unties Faith and pulls on her arm FAITH We’ve gotta fight this thing CONNOR No, we’ve got to run, we can’t take this alone FAITH Come on! Ryan continues forward and slams his hand on the ground, splitting it all the way long to where they’re standing FAITH Running is good. Both sprint with all their energy as the building begins to crumble on Ryan. Both collapse to the ground as it cave’s in. FAITH What was that? CONNOR Building fell on him JAMIE How big was the building? FAITH Maybe twenty feet tall, forty wide and sixty long JAMIE You’ve got an hour FAITH No way can he get out of that in an hour JAMIE You have fifty nine minutes (beat) fifty nine minutes to decide what you’re going to do. It’ll take you where ever you want to go in England, it does not want to be near me and if you ever go near Ryan again when we get him back, you’ll spend more time horizontal than you already do. Jamie walks away leaving Thalia and shock JAMIE Jamie by the way and if you get an epiphany where you suddenly realise you can help…don’t. Jamie walks out into the rain leaving Thalia lost and confused. CUT TO. EXT – FAITH’S APARTMENT – NIGHT Ryan is roaming around outside, waiting for someone to make the move on him. FAITH We’re doing this now. Faith, Connor and Darren join hands in a circle with Willow. She looks to the sky as a rush of power surges through them WILLOW This won’t last more than twenty minutes, get it done, whatever it is. CUT TO. EXT – FAITH’S APARTMENT – NIGHT JAMIE (O.S) Hey you Ryan spins to see Jamie, his face becomes softer, the skin begins to smooth over again and his eyes return to normal…for a second until he roars with rage, back into his demon form as an arrow shoots into his back. JAMIE Faith, No! Faith charges at Ryan and kicks into his face. He immediately swings her off and through a wall. Darren gets in three punches before being used as a bowling ball against Jamie DARREN You okay? JAMIE You’re idiots all of you! He was listening to me! Connor runs up the side of the wall and leaps off against Ryan’s face. Ryan run’s off down the street. CONNOR The Hospital! Faith’s already up on the roof, leaping across to avoid any stray vampires or pedestrians. Connor follows. JAMIE Come on DARREN You’re coming to the hospital JAMIE He’s not going there DARREN What? JAMIE The person who started all this…the person who, right now, is completely without protection DARREN Thalia! CUT TO. INT – PLANE – NIGHT Thalia smiles at the hostess as she sits nervously as she buckles her belt and stares out of the window. Confuses, she clears the window from rain (via a little sunny spell) to make clear a large figure galloping at the plane. END OF PART THREE INT – PLANE – NIGHT Thalia shake’s it off, blaming her imagination. CUT TO. INT – HOSPITAL – NIGHT Faith and Connor arrive in a hurry. Dawn is sat up in bed CONNOR Dawn! FAITH Told you nobody does coma’s like I do…except Cordelia DAWN What are you guys doing here? Did you stop him? FAITH We thought he was coming here DAWN Connor I’m so sorry CONNOR It’s not your fault, Ryan’s lost it completely DAWN Ryan? CUT TO. INT – AIRPORT – NIGHT Darren and Jamie arrive, skidding through the lobby and crashing into the window. JAMIE He’s on the runway! INT – PLANE – NIGHT Thalia is shaken as the plane begins to rumble furiously. After a rough few minutes and the plane coming to a stand still. All is calm. Everyone takes a deep breath and relaxes only to begin screaming again as the side of the plane is torn off. Ryan grins at Thalia, baring large fangs! CUT TO. INT – HOSPITAL – NIGHT DAWN Ryan didn’t do this to me! CONNOR Who did? CUT TO.
