INT – KORBENS PLANE – NIGHT
Thalia looks out the window with sadness and sorrow as the plane takes off.
KORBEN
You okay?
THALIA
I never got to say goodbye. I started all of this and…I should be the one that ends it
KORBEN
Don’t worry they sound like they can handle it
CUT TO.
INT – ANDREWS BAR – NIGHT
DARREN
I can’t handle this!
JAMIE
He’ll be back soon, no doubt
DARREN

JAMIE
Is this sarcastic for how my hair looks?
DARREN
No I mean it. You’ve shown me a different you. I figured you’d be way freaked about all this demon stuff and go all afraid and shallow and bitchy
JAMIE

DARREN

JAMIE
I’ve been scared. I still am
DARREN
You’re doing a good job, sorry your vacation has been so…homely
JAMIE

Dawn enters the bar holding a cross bow
DAWN
Darren what the hell?
DARREN
Pretty lively for a vegetable!
DAWN
Cute. What are you doing here? Where’s Ryan?
DARREN
He’s kinda trapped in a burning plane
DAWN

ANDREW
It’s okay apparently it will cause him mild discomfort and mainly piss him off which is probably a not good thing
DAWN
Where’s Thalia?
(to Jamie)
Did you kill her?
JAMIE
I don’t even know you. I met you once. Don’t presume
DAWN

JAMIE
I wanted to
DAWN
Feel free to give a straight answer any time you want

I didn’t kill her. She’s gone back to England
DAWN

DARREN
It’s not Jamie’s fault Dawn. Ryan attacked the plane Thalia was on and Korben flew her out alone
DAWN
Who?
ANDREW
Korben my friend, he’s my friend
DAWN
Was anyone hurt?
ANDREW
Actually I think they’re still flying over
DAWN
In the other plane
DARREN
Shocked. Not hurt
DAWN
We need to find Ryan now
JAMIE
Darren are all American’s this slow?
DAWN
Excuse me?
JAMIE
I’m sorry but it doesn’t seem to matter how often I shake it into all of you but you can’t physically defeat Ryan, it’s not possible!
DAWN
Look I appreciate the whole connection thing and I may actually need you at some point but I have my own plan so back off and follow or just leave
DARREN
Hey that is enough
DAWN
You’ve got the same options. You’re with me or against me, I don’t have time for this.
CUT TO.
EXT – FAITHS APARTMENT – NIGHT
Tara comes flying out of the door as Faith crashes up against the window. Connor jumps over to Faith and grabs her by the collar throwing her back into the road
TARA
Stop this!
FAITH
Come on kid is that all you’ve got?
Connor swings his leg round at Faith, she grabs his ankle and bangs his leg back towards him, flinging him over.
FAITH
I’ve been waiting for months for this
Connor flips back to his feet
CONNOR
I’ve been waiting twice as long
TARA
Guys this isn’t a competition
CONNOR/FAITH
(circling each other)
yes it is
Faith throws a punch, Connor blocks it and throws one at Faith. She blocks it and brings his head down into her knee, he flips backwards bringing his feet into her face and snapping her backwards.
TARA
We have to help Willow!
Both stop as Tara runs back inside.
ANGELUS
Well, well my two favourite people
Both look up in shock as they see Angelus stood at the top of the building
CUT TO.
EXT – BOSTON STREET – NIGHT
Dawn leads as Darren and Jamie march behind her, all fully loaded with weapons
Ryan comes tearing round the corner, tearing chunks from the road with his claws, his skin is battered and burnt.
DAWN
Show time
Dawn immediately shoots an arrow into Ryan, he catches it mid air and snaps it with two fingers. Jamie runs at him with a club. He grabs her by the throat and hurls her into a pile of trash cans.
Darren spins round and kicks Ryan in the leg before spinning with him back to back and landing a small dagger into him.
DARREN
Now!
Dawn shoots a tranquilliser through the air it doesn’t even pierce his skin.
CUT TO.
INT – FAITHS APARTMENT – NIGHT
Tara pours out her bag on the floor of Faith’s room as she wipes her eyes. She grabs her old diary and finds the map of Boston on it.
FADE TO.
INT – FAITHS BATHROOM – NIGHT
Candles surround Tara as she pours red sand on to the map
TARA
Willow…
She closes her eyes and holds her hands over the map. A tiny white light appears where Willow is.
Tara opens her eyes and smiles with relief, blinking in horror as several yellow dots (demons) appear around the building she’s in
CUT TO.
EXT – BOSTON STREET – NIGHT
Ryan throws Darren into a wall and heads for Dawn.
DAWN
Ryan listen it’s me Dawn…please I know you’re in there
Ryan pauses for a moment, his body remains the same but his eyes transform to their human colour and glint
Darren unknowingly leaps up and hangs off of Ryan’s back
DAWN
Darren no!
Ryan throws Darren on to the roof of the bus shelter and kicks Dawn into a hedge. He breathes heavily for a moment before launching over to Jamie who’s just about coming round.
He leaps into the air and lands, squatted over her with his jaw wide open, his eyes are still human as she looks up to him
JAMIE
Ryan…
His eyes widen as he sees the lack of fear in Jamie’s eyes. She trusts him enough to know he won’t harm her. Slowly he begins to morph backwards.
Darren and Dawn look on in pain and shock both are breathless.
DAWN
Now for the finale
DARREN
What?
CUT TO.
INT – ANDREWS APARTMENT – NIGHT
Andrew blows out a candle and smiles
CUT TO.
EXT – BOSTON STREET – NIGHT
Ryan is shaking and crying on the floor as Jamie approaches him he flinches at the thought of her touch. Suddenly he stops.
JAMIE
What’s happening?
DAWN
The spell worked
DARREN
Spell?
DAWN
A curse. We can’t risk this happening again
JAMIE
What kind of curse?
DAWN
He’s cured
JAMIE
From being a demon?
DAWN
From having emotions, strong ones at least
DARREN
What?
DAWN
He can laugh but that’s about it until we know he can control himself entirely then it’s not worth the risk
JAMIE
How can you deprive someone of their emotions? How the hell do we know what he’s feeling?
DAWN
You’ll know just look into his eyes
Jamie looks at Ryan, he’s beginning to calm as the normally blue Iris becomes a cloudy pink colour
JAMIE
What’s going on with his eyes?
DAWN
It’s like a mood ring, blue for calm, green for envy, red for hot, pink for love – the non sexy kind, purple for sick, black for angry…I’ll try and fax you a colour chart or something
Jamie smiles at Dawn a little wary before smiling back at Ryan and nodding her head as he looks at his pink eyes.
CUT TO.
EXT – FAITHS APARTMENT – NIGHT
Angelus boots Faith into Connor and leaps back onto the roof and starts running.
FAITH
Looks like he rolled the dice
END OF PART THREE
INT – FAITHS APARTMENT – NIGHT
Tara is packing up a bag of stakes and an axe as she swings out of the door alone.
CUT TO.
EXT – AIRPORT – NIGHT
DARREN
You’re sure I can’t stay and help?
DAWN
Positive. It’s nothing we haven’t all faced at some point…well okay it’s nothing Faith, Willow and Connor haven’t faced before
DARREN
I feel like I owe you so much
DAWN
I’ll bare it in mind.
They hug
DAWN

DARREN
You too
DAWN
Look after him Darren, let me know if you see Thalia around
DARREN
I don’t think any of us will be hearing from her in a very long time
DAWN

DARREN

DAWN
Hey I’ll be over in Amberfield at the end of August to check up on you
DARREN

DAWN
Sorry your visit was so short and fly by I sorta wish we could’ve vacationed properly but he needs to be with his family and you’re the one I trust to get him there safely and quickly

EXT – GSPOT – NIGHT
Faith and Connor kick the door open. It’s pitch black.
ANGELUS
(can’t be seen through the darkness)
Let the games begin
Faith and Connor both jump as the doors slam behind them. The lights slowly flicker on, a spotlight on Willow
ANGELUS
Surprise!
FAITH
Will!
Faith goes to move but stops as around fourteen vampires step out from behind the stage curtains
ANGELUS
Well doesn’t your timing just suck?
