Subject: 3x14: Dream On Dreamer (1 of 4) Author: VKMax [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 00:06:13 10/30/03 Thu Author Host/IP: cpc1-farn1-6-0-cust130.glfd.cable.ntl.com/80.6.32.130 INT – GSPOT – NIGHT Faith and Connor back into each other as the vampires home in on them FAITH You know, next time I tell you you’re not going on your own – ignore me CONNOR I don’t think we’ll have to worry about that FAITH We can do this, sure last time I had a whole bunch of slayers but we can do this CONNOR Your confidence reassures me FAITH I’m the sarcastic one – you’re the blunt one ANGELUS Guys, guys don’t fight now you’ll all get a chance to be eaten and Faith we know how you like to be ea… FAITH Save your lack of breath hair boy ANGELUS Ouch! And the bitch bites back…you wanna see who’s bite hurts the most Faith? FAITH You wanna see what you’re gonna look like in ten minutes? Faith takes a swift move and spins into one of the vampires, the stake goes straight through the heart before they even catch her move. She smiles confidently ANGELUS Faith you’re the slayer, you have those crazy dreams yet somehow you didn’t see this coming, I guess that’s just one more thing Buffy had one you – FAITH What’s that? ANGELUS She used her brain CONNOR Shut up ANGELUS Don’t think you’re too old for spankin’ boy! CONNOR You’re not my Father ANGELUS Still saying that after all this time huh? CONNOR It’s true ANGELUS It is? Well blow me away! You mean you actually figured the plan out before I explained it to you? You worked out that – oh, Angelus was resurrected but when you die your soul goes to wherever – you worked that out? Blank looks ANGELUS You worked out that Linda didn’t think I should have my soul bought back with me, I should just be pure? Faith and Connor look at each other lost ANGELUS (mock shocked) You didn’t figure that out? Wow! You’re that stupid Angelus laughs wickedly as the vampires get even closer ANGELUS Kill them (glares at Connor) Not him – he’s mine! The vampires begin leaping forward as the doors and half the wall explode off to reveal a very pissed Tara floating above the ground. ANGELUS Looky, looky it’s the other one – what is it about super heroes and having a pair with a blonde in it huh? Tara glares at Angelus and much like Willow in TOUGH LOVE drops a bag to the floor, a pile of stakes lifting out of it TARA Blondes have more fun! Starring Eliza Dushku and Michelle Trachtenberg Tom Lenk Lisa Roxanne Shawn Ashmore Vincent Karthieser as Connor NOTE: Though the previous episode was the last official episode for Lisa and Shawn, and they are in fact not seen over this or the next episode – as there’s only four episode remaining and they appear in flashbacks during the final 2, they will remain in the cast credits. Special Guest Star Alyson Hannigan Amber Benson as Tara Guest Starring David Boreanaz, Drew Fuller, Trevor Lissauer, Lindsey Sloane as Maria INT – GSPOT – NIGHT Angelus leaps out of the way of the stakes and tackles Connor to the ground. Tara releases the grip on the stakes and takes out around a dozen vampires. She glides over to Willow and removes the gag WILLOW Tara? Tara’s are pure white before fading back to normal She kisses Willow before untying her. WILLOW Your eyes… TARA (smiles) Guess we both have more than we realised WILLOW What? TARA I don’t know…it was like you were in trouble and I-I thought I’d lost you suddenly I just felt s-so much stronger Willow smiles and wraps her arms around Tara tightly Faith leaps into the air, flipping over and landing on a table swinging both arms out and taking two vampires by swinging a serving tray through their necks. She flips back off the table and begins to beat another vampire senseless. Angelus has Connor in the corner – he kicks him in the stomach, tossing him through the air and over the bar – Connor lands, crashing into the glasses and bottles. ANGELUS What’s the matter “son”? Still can’t take your old man? Angelus leaps over the bar and lands over Connor, grabbing him by the collar and dragging him to his feet. Faith stakes another vampire – just five left standing They all home in on Faith before dusting in front of her, Faith, confused, looks over to see Willow and Tara holding hands and floating next to a smashed up table. FAITH Connor! She looks around but can’t see him until Angelus head bobs up over the bar. Faith leaps from table to table and grabs him from the bar, pulling him over with her. FAITH Back off. Faith beats Angels with both fists – he punches her down and smashes a chair across her head. Connor comes back from over the counter as Angelus tosses Willow and Tara into the stage curtains, which collapse on them. CONNOR Hey Angelus looks up, game face on CONNOR I just realised something Connor holds up a fire extinguisher and smashes it into his face sending him down CONNOR I don’t like you. Connor leaps over and continues the fight as Faith goes to join in CONNOR Faith! This is mine! Distracted by warning Faith off, Connor is floored by Angelus who crouches over him and grabs his collar ANGELUS How about some Father and Son bonding? Angelus brings himself down, his teeth dangerously close to Connor – Connor flinches as they sink into him. His eyes go wide as flashes of all of Angelus crimes rush through his head, mixed with everything Angel ever done. Angelus stops and looks at Connor in horror as he falls to ashes around him. CONNOR You’re not my Father…you never have been Connor stands and wipes the ashes from himself CONNOR I can see that now He begins to walk out, holding his bleeding neck FAITH You okay junior? CONNOR Better than ever The girls look a little distorted as they follow him out. CUT TO. EXT – FAITH’S APARTMENT – THE NEXT DAY Dawn, Andrew, Jones and Faith stand around as Tara and Willow get inside the car. DAWN Sorry you have to drive to the New York airport again WILLOW It’s okay – we lived through a Boston trip so that’s a plus DAWN I know but it would’ve probably been better for you to, you know not have a half exploded airport and stuff – also if you hadn’t got kidnapped you could’ve got a ride to England with Korben and let me steal the rent-a-car She smiles before stepping to the back. Faith comes forward TARA How’s Connor? FAITH He’ll cope – always does They smile out of the window and drive away, Faith looks on in horror as the road bursts into flames and the car crumbles into nothing. Dawn steps in front of Faith, burns down her face DAWN Faith! Faith almost collapses in horror DAWN Faith? She shake her head and everything is normal again FAITH I gotta get some sleep DAWN It’s been a tough few days – have you even slept since New York? CUT TO. INT – FAITHS ROOM – NIGHT Faith is tossing and turning. **dream** The streets have caved in, Faith is walking completely alone as buildings burn. Demon’s charge around her, not noticing her – Jones and Maria come rushing out from Andrew’s burning bar. JONES We need to reach England MARIA The phones are out – we can’t it’s over JONES It can’t be over, we have to find him, he’s the only one strong enough to fight any of them MARIA Face it Jones…Connor’s dead like the rest of them Faith stare’s around even more lost than before, the fire getting brighter and brighter as she steps over to a random door in the middle of a wall. She opens it and Dawn’s body falls out INT – FAITHS ROOM – NIGHT Faith springs up in bed, panting heavily as she sweats END OF PART ONE EXT – BOSTON COLLEGE – DAY Faith is walking past rubbing her head as she walks directly into a lamppost FAITH Ow! She looks over at the college and sees that’s it’s burnt to cinders, bodies hanging from windows – she sees it literally for a half second. She continues to walk on, miffed – she walks into Jones He grabs her round the waist and kisses her on the cheek JONES Hey, how you doin? FAITH Little Smokey JONES You smell fine FAITH In the head – little clouded JONES Want a massage? FAITH I’m cool, where you headin’ to? JONES No place, just sort of wondering the streets is all FAITH Followin’ me? JONES Little bit – it’s just I haven’t really had a chance to be with you since New York – I bought you flowers but they died during the mass fight FAITH I’m allergic so it’s probably a good thing JONES Tell you what – you and me, tonight we’ll do something alone FAITH We always do that alone remember? you stopped being kinky JONES I meant something before that (kisses her again) I’m gonna go think about what, you just think about me okay? Jones runs off down the street, Faith smiles at him as he fades into the distance. She tightens her jacket around her and feels her hands are wet – she looks down to see blood, which fades away in a second. CUT TO. EXT – PARK – DAY Connor is sat on a swing looking miserable, he has a bandage on his neck. DAWN (O.S) Hey CONNOR Hey Dawn places her pile of books down and sits on the swing next to him DAWN I…I heard you were real good the other night CONNOR You too DAWN It was nothing, Maria done the main part – She’s getting quite the Willow with her magic CONNOR Does that worry you? DAWN Not really, she’s stable CONNOR What about Ryan? DAWN He’s going to stay in England – I feel kind of bad that all of the Guardians are there and I created them but I’m here you know? CONNOR Strange isn’t it DAWN What? CONNOR The way it all plays out – that Ryan happened to go bad and head back to England where his sisters best friend was a Guardian and that girl Darren says is the other one goes to school with him, they’ve all sorta been drawn to the spot DAWN Except for Tee, she’s just in England is all we know CONNOR I’m sure we’ll hear from her DAWN But enough about that – how are you coping? CONNOR With what? DAWN With that huge dark cloud above your head CONNOR He wasn’t my Dad – DAWN That’s a good thing right? You didn’t have to kill your father? CONNOR I wish it had been – I could’ve saved him this time DAWN This time? CONNOR When he died…I listened to him. I never used to do what he told me, but I decided to take notice and ignore my gut instinct, which told me to go with him DAWN Connor… CONNOR By the time I got back he was dead and I couldn’t save him DAWN I’m sorry I had no idea CONNOR Why would you? I never said anything before Dawn places her hand on Connor’s and sits silently with him CUT TO. INT – ANDREWS BAR – DAY Andrew is sweeping up glass from the last bar fight as Korben walks through the door. ANDREW Wow you’re back already? KORBEN Is that a bad thing? ANDREW No of course not, it’s just that was real fast KORBEN I’ve been gone for sixteen hours ANDREW Oh KORBEN What’s with the broken glass? ANDREW Bar fight KORBEN God are you okay? ANDREW Yeah I’m fine Korben smiles and sits down at the bar as Andrew pours out a drink ANDREW Listen, I just wanna say thanks for you know, all of this you shouldn’t be in the middle KORBEN I wannabe in the middle – I’ve always got that there’s out of this world things in the world but I never got how it was kept under control and I see that now and so badly want to be a part of it ANDREW Really? KORBEN Well, yeah especially if it means I get to spend some more time with you… Andrew’s a little stunned as Korben stands KORBEN I need to use the bathroom. Korben walks off, Andrew hasn’t moved, Korben returns instantly and walks behind the bar KORBEN I need to say something and it can’t wait til I go to the bathroom ANDREW …The spare tissue is in the back closet KORBEN Not that Korben holds the side of Andrew’s face and kisses him softly before smiling and walking away again leaving Andrew even more stunned. CUT TO. INT – MARIA’S – DAY Faith strolls through as Maria peels tape from her trousers FAITH Hey what’s with all the boxes? MARIA Oh right we had the end of the world and all that – Tara’s selling the house and it turns out that I forgot the past couple of months rent because, oh yeah, I have no money and can’t afford to live here anymore FAITH Come and stay at my place MARIA I can’t…it’s time to move on anyway you know? I always lived in the van because I didn’t like to stay in one place too long and guess what – I’ve been here for eight months now FAITH It’s really just been that long? Means it’s only been a year since I got back…that’s insane MARIA Feels like longer? FAITH About forty-five life or death fights longer MARIA So, Faith – I can only assume you want a spell? FAITH Why assume? MARIA State the last time any of us just hung out? FAITH Or the first time comes to think of it MARIA I know – I mean it’s like the first time I met you guys was that whole Casey thing and I just sorta stuck around through out FAITH Is this gonna get all deep and “destiny” like? MARIA Yeah it’s probably wise to just tell me what spell you need FAITH I keep having visions MARIA It just means your eyes work FAITH Not vision – visions, like seeing things that aren’t real MARIA That’s called being insane FAITH Slayer’s have prosthetic dreams MARIA Okay, so what did you see? FAITH The end of the world CUT TO. INT – COLLEGE – DAY Dawn is leaving the deans office as she hears a strange flowing sound coming from a nearby closet She slowly walks over and pulls the door open, blood comes pouring out of it as a body falls down from the shelf – face completely removed. CUT TO. INT – MARIA’S - DAY Maria’s face is pale white as Faith looks on with fear FAITH Stop! Maria’s hair begins rushing behind her as her eyes flood with blood red light A huge wave of light rushes through the house leaving everything as normal FAITH What the hell was that? MARIA Okay remind me not to ever do that again – ever FAITH What did you see? MARIA Besides a big sign saying don’t do this again you idiot, not much FAITH At all? MARIA (wiping a bleeding nose) Demons they were nothing I’ve seen before – something new or at least something old and unseen – they’re not from here, but they’re coming to party FAITH (sarcastic) Not much then? CONNOR No it was a question not sarcasm DAWN I don’t know but it was not pretty okay – something big and nasty is coming, I mean, have you noticed the complete amount of demons these past few months despite our supposed banishment? CONNOR Well yeah but a whole bunch came through from Quo’Tarth DAWN So how do they keep on coming? CONNOR Hybrids DAWN What? CONNOR The ones we didn’t kill are obviously vamping people DAWN They weren’t vampires CONNOR No, but they’re probably mixing their blood to make people into demons just less demony demons DAWN So this is a bad thing? CONNOR Yes and No DAWN But without the no CONNOR No, with the no DAWN So yes? CONNOR No DAWN What? CONNOR It’s bad that people would’ve died but it’s not so bad in the sense that the demons that weren’t directly from Quo’Tarth – the ones that got made, they’ll be half as strong DAWN How strong is half as strong? The doors are blood stained with holes in the walls. Willow walks out in front of her – one side of her face is completely cut up from claws FAITH Your face… WILLOW It didn’t hurt Willow opens her jacket to reveal a large hole WILLOW I was already dead FAITH Who did this? TARA You silly Faith turns to see Tara leaning in the door way FAITH Why aren’t you coming out here? TARA I can’t, I misplace my legs FAITH You…huh? Tara wilts her neck down as demon crashes through the doorway holding the top, legless half of her body. He drops it and smacks Faith who lands in the lobby at Wolfram & Hart. FAITH Did I miss a real big barbecue? The walls are burnt and there’s a large hole in the floor ANGELUS What are you doing here? FAITH Could ask you the same thing ash ANGELUS Hell on earth idiot – I belong here FAITH What? He boots Faith in the stomach – she lands in the Boston graveyard, it’s raining. Faith looks up at Connor’s grave, it’s next to Maria’s, Dawn’s, Thalia’s and Ryan’s. FAITH No Faith stands and turns around slowly to see the entire city of Boston has gone – darkness remains. She walks back to the purple horizon and looks through FAITH I know this place… She reaches into the portal and falls down a never-ending hole. Faith wakes up in bed, Jones is holding her down by the shoulder JONES Faith what’s wrong? Faith stares back at him – shaking. JONES You were practically dancing in bed Faith stares at him and leaps out of bed, grabbing her coat. CUT TO. EXT – BOSTON STREET – NIGHT Jones, who hasn’t had time to find a shirt and is still doing up his pants – follows Faith out into the street. JONES Where are you going? Faith completely ignores him and continues walking CUT TO. EXT – BOSTON GRAVEYARD – NIGHT JONES Faith why are we here? She continues walking to the field behind the graveyard before stopping dead in her tracks JONES Faith what is it? She touches the air around her JONES Are you sleep walking? FAITH What? No…something…this place it was in my dream JONES That’s freaky because? FAITH Everyone was dead and Boston had been burnt down by demons JONES Okay that’s not nice FAITH Hence the freak out JONES You didn’t eat that cheese did you because it’s not Stilton, it’s just gone blue FAITH I’m scared JONES Faith’s scared – never thought I’d see the day Faith turns to him and looks him in the eye JONES You really are scared (looks over her shoulder) Is it because of that? Faith turns to see an enormous demon holding leftovers of a person in it’s hands. It grins as it spits a ball of fire between them – both diving out of it’s way. CUT TO. INT – DAWNS LOUNGE – NIGHT Dawn wakes up with a large scatch down her face. Dawn scans what would be the room, instead there’s Asia’s dead body and a collapsing building. She blinks hard and everything returns to normal. END OF PART THREE EXT – GRAVEYARD – NIGHT FAITH Jones! Faith shoves him out of the way and leaps into the demon, holding his neck hard and twisting it round. The demon falls to the ground dead. FAITH You okay? JONES I’m okay, you? FAITH Five by five JONES I’m starting to share that bad feeling… CUT TO. INT – MARIA’S – NIGHT Maria is up in the kitchen looking less than healthy – she’s still pale as she pours a glass of water. MARIA Stupid Faith Maria falls to the ground, smashing the glass as she begins shaking. CUT TO. EXT – GRAVEYARD – NIGHT Faith is still breathless as her cell begins ringing, Jones takes it for her JONES Hello? DAWN Good you’re up – can I come over? JONES I think that’ll be a good idea, we have to talk – all of us CUT TO. INT – FAITHS APARTMENT – NIGHT Andrew, Dawn, Connor, Jones and Korben are sat along the chairs FAITH Who’s the guy? KORBEN I’m Korben ANDREW He’s joining the mission FAITH You got any powers Korben? KORBEN Not really, but I’m not afraid to go some in a fight FAITH Then you’re in – did anyone call Maria? DAWN She didn’t pick up, one of not many that sleep at 3am. FAITH She can catch up. Here’s the sitch, I’ve been having these wicked crazy dreams of late – dreams about all of you guys being dead and these big nasty ass demons burning the city down DAWN Slayer dreams FAITH Way Slayer and I know you’ve had them too, these dreams have been leaving me with cuts and bruises and tonight, Jones and I were lucky enough to meet one of the stars for real DAWN Are you okay? FAITH I’m cool, but this dudes breath aint. He’s big and strong and he breathes fire – luckily he’s slow and dumb too. I kill him easy but there’s going to be more CONNOR More? FAITH Way more and its because of us DAWN Us? FAITH That little spell we done that banished all the demons then opened the door to Quo’Tarth that we then closed…well, if my dreams are right they’re all about to burst back open with more bubbles than before Faith looks down then steps up FAITH If we don’t figure this out…it’s the end of the world.
