Whilst i share the exact feelings you do surrounding your final line, i actually think we look good to finish top 8. As for injuries, whilst we haven't had many, i think we're pretty well set in the event of them, with strong cover for pretty much every position. It would take a concentration of injuries in 1 or 2 positions for it to really derail us IMO -- SW6.doc

The strength in depth is so rare for us. I was thinking about how we've managed it and seem to have kept the subs happy enough to not be demanding a transfer. And I wonder if its why Marco always makes a lot of subs with 25 mins to go, some of which seem unneccessary and cost us points eg West Ham. Could be he's not thinking about what is best in that game, but more long term about keeping the 'reserve team' feel part of the first team. It seems to have worked so far if that is the case. - Dunno about that, I think he is making moves for the game but is constantly experimenting which isn’t a bad thing. He has depth everywhere as above, so he’s using it. The net effect is the same ie keeping everyone one their toes. A lot of subs are forced by opposition and current fitness levels. (ESR). Lukic’s return gives him even more options who doesn’t only play as a 6. The only blemish is Jay Stansfield going as I think him as a 3rd option would have been mega imo.
