Subject: Further 'actuals' inside - in reality probably somewhere between £500m and £600m
In reply to: Henry1879 's message, "How have you reached the 700m figure for not being in the top division during their tenure?" on Tuesday, November 19, 02:27:30pm

Currently been 4 premier league seasons under the Khans where the revenue has been declared.

The average for those seasons = £141m. That includes one season before a sizable jump in TV money, and a season with no gate receipts due to covid, so if anything is probably understated as an average.

There have been 6 championship seasons under the Khans which have averaged almost exactly £50m turnover per year.

So when looking with a bit more detail, from an averages point of view, you're looking at £91m per season (6 seasons), so £546m. That figure, as i say feels slightly underestimated, as the premier league averages include outliers within the sample of 4, but wherever you settle in that range, the bulk of investment has been required because of the pigs ear we made of their first 3 seasons in the prem.

Looking great now, of course, and i'm thoroughly of the 'they're doing much better' persuasion, but they'll never recoup what theyve lost because it was SO bad.
