Assuming no big departures, unless someone comes in with obscene money for robinson, then what areas do we need to strengthen? I think we’ve built a solid, physical, well rounded and quite deep squad, but are we lacking a bit of wow factor. I’m happy across the back line, can’t think we’ve ever had better defensive options. I think we could look at a young box to box type midfielder, for all the protection and solidity Berge and lukic offer our back 4, I wonder if an area is a young cairney type, someone who’ll score and create goals as well as put in a defensive shift. Baleba at BHA or Wharton at palace spring to mind for the style of player, I notice CFC are willing to let chukweukema leave and dewsbury-hall also a really good player.

I’m not sure about our CF role being one that needs changing in Jan, maybe if a younger bargain comes up, similar to Cherki from Lyon, but would like them to cover all forward roles, rather than a specialised CF. I still have faith Muniz will come again, he’s shown plenty when he’s come or started last week, still only played 100 odd senior first team games, it took years for mitro, solanke to become really good consistent prem CFs

If European football becomes a distinct possibility then yes we need a quality striker as he’ll be the difference between qualifying or not! Nelson injury a blow as he has genuine pace but not sure we look at that position with the likes of Iwobi & possibly Sessegnon? Selling Robinson in the window would scupper any chance of us finishing in the top 10 place, in my opinion.Therefore I think we will sell him at the end of the season, if he doesn't want to stay. Pereira on the other hand looks more likfe the player who might be allowed to leave, but i still think Marco will want to keep him for the rest of the season. Honestly, I struggle to understand how a Cairney type of any age is what we need to where we hope to progress, or for that matter, where we are now. One legged, not remotely quick and not keen on tracking back - albeit with the occasional sweet pass - does not fit the bill for me though; I accept that the original has some dedicated fans on here. - What I meant by cairney, is someone who can make a difference in an attacking sense, as well as put in a defensive shift, not his physical attributes. Lukic nor Berge would never have scored that goal v spurs, probably as theyre told not to attack to much, but just think we can improve with more of a threat from central mid area, even if it’s 4 or 5 a season, KDH would graft for Leicester but also contribute with goals/assists.
