Honestly, I struggle to understand how a Cairney type of any age is what we need to where we hope to progress, or for that matter, where we are now. One legged, not remotely quick and not keen on tracking back - albeit with the occasional sweet pass - does not fit the bill for me though; I accept that the original has some dedicated fans on here. -- SW6.doc

What I meant by cairney, is someone who can make a difference in an attacking sense, as well as put in a defensive shift, not his physical attributes. Lukic nor Berge would never have scored that goal v spurs, probably as theyre told not to attack to much, but just think we can improve with more of a threat from central mid area, even if it’s 4 or 5 a season, KDH would graft for Leicester but also contribute with goals/assists.
