  • Why did the club not lengthen Muniz contract last season , and why are they not doing something about it now ? I believe he is still on his first kids wages on coming here . The club’s inactivity ( Alistair Mac) smacks of something worse than stupidity . He is the player who could have made the difference this year between where’s we are now and top four . • There’s a few someone like spurs would possibly look at, silva, Iraola and Frank spring to mind, but there’s a whole pool of Iraola/hurtzler type young managers across the continent so would still be an outside chance silva would be the one. The key is for management to accept it may happen, sure fight for him, but if it does then have options in place and a clear strategy, because he won’t be here forever.   • All true, but today's opposing managers would unfortunately make better sense for Spurs right now, leaving Bournemouth or us to find the next young tyro from the continent. It would also reprise Spurs' thinking on Nuno, too hastily cast off as is now evident and the fanbase appreciate. So Silva/Iraola would have more buy-in than Nuno had. Would not expect Spurs to play out till the summer, but nor for FFC to be expecting Marco to be further than 18 months from departure by now.     • Disagree about Nuno for spurs, was never the fit, like Roy @ liv, moyes at Utd the sit back, low possession, counter attack style doesn’t suit a top 6 club. Spurs wouldn’t be able to do what forest do as well as most teams will go to them and sit back, we did it masterfully v forest, they want to sit back and let you make the running. He’s well suited to a mid/lower prem team, however silva & Iraola play front foot football and can play a number of ways so agree they would be a better fit. • Spurs are in the Semi Final of the League Cup, still in the Europa League, still in the FA Cup, and are only 6 points off 5th place . I would guess the owners will review the situation at the end of the season. Plus Silva is doing well with a squad he has largely assembled or improved.
