Subject: One thing Silva got right today was finally playing both strikers together. When I saw Muniz standing in the touchline I was dreading Jimenez's number coming up like every other week so far. Thank goodness he stayed on the pitch for those penalties and as you say he was superb all round. Agree also with your points about the shape nullifying Robinson. When Berge is back we should revert to two centre halves and yes, Diop and Bassey for me too.

  • Forgot to add - Silva’s meltdowns with refs can’t help us, yes he wants to win, but we became almost a mirror of him, he was losing his head and we lost ours just after our 1sr goal, too much emotion. He, therefore we, can become obsessed with the ref, when we’d be better served expending that energy on ourselves. Injustices will happen, it’s how we react that will determine us, getting embroiled in a single decision won’t help us win, think we can keep a cooler head at times.
