Subject: Or maybe people just have different experiences. Mine, which include regular trips for work over a 10 year period, don't go to either extreme, but have seen elements of both. Some of them up there are great. Some are unbearable. Just because another person's experience isn't a mirror image of yours doesn't mean they're 'talking nonsense'
In reply to: Wolfie Smith 's message, "Oh ok. Not including in and out day trips to Anfield or Goodison for football, I've been up there 3 times for the national, two of which I stayed in the city centre for 3 or 4 days. Also for last years League cup semi 1st leg I travelled up late on the Monday and came back on Thursday. On all these occasions I found people in shops, cab drivers, everyone really to be very friendly. Strange really how two peoples experiences can differ so wildly... It's almost as if someone's talking nonsense." on Thursday, January 09, 10:20:57am
