Subject: On the other hand .... The women's world cup was a huge success and was very widely watched. Women's football has an ever growing following amongst women. No it will never be at the same level as men's, any more than athletics or rugby. But it's a very valuable sporting outlet for young women and I see it as a good thing that Fulham are investing what I'm sure is a comparatively small amount of money into a women's team which young women players at grass roots level can aspire to.
