Subject: Actually stayed up in Darlo that day and attended the local beer festival after the game. Quite a few Darlo fans obviously attended as well. One asked 'were you proud of your teams performance?' He wasn't happy when I said 'yes' 🤣
In reply to: Same Old Story 's message, "I always thought one of the reasons i loved the Micky Adams season so much was that nastier edge we seemed to have. We were a good team for that level but we could kick teams off the park as well. Darlington away particularly springs to mind." on Thursday, January 16, 01:51:31pm

  • One of my biggest football regrets is not visiting Darlington's old ground. It looked like a proper old ground. (NT) -- Hammersmithender, Thursday, January 16, 03:41:00pm (NoHost/31.94.74.1)
  • Yeah it was. Went a couple of times. Not the friendliest place, but few of the northern away days were back then. As you say, Feethams was a proper old little ground though (NT) -- Same Old Story, Thursday, January 16, 03:46:44pm (webdefence-pool-02.cluster-a.forcepoint.net/85.115.52.202)
  • It was, along with York’s back then. Both sadly now gone. (NT) -- Bexhill Beast, Thursday, January 16, 04:37:39pm (host86-179-0-1.range86-179.btcentralplus.com/86.179.0.1)
