Subject: Only spotted this this weekend. Was shocked.. Anyone think its fair and correct? Could be said the same for Rugby? At least in Cricket the field is smaller/shorter

Was watching the WSL
and up popped the Subs list... was expecting 3 or 5 subs
But 9 names appeared on the screen for each team.
Got me thinking. Does the Womens football really genreate enough money to pay all these players
If it was the mens game any player on the bench gets paid a WIN bonus.
The theres the actual question of 'quailty'. How many subs can come on? 3 or 5? Do they use them all? Are the any good?
After all the MENs version started with no subs , then 1, then 3 then 5

Have the womens just jumped up to 5 subs for the sake of equailty? Surely 3 is enough and keeps standards higher?
