Subject: The guys attitude just seems horrible to me, kind of dismissive looking at players with disgust, thinks he’s the man, he’s the teacher at school who used to put down people for getting things wrong and relish the control to feed his ego. Saying that I don’t think it was a foul on Bassey and it was so close the offside, but he missed quite a nasty one on ESR where he suffered his injury.

  • This is a very good point. To me, we got frustrated by the way they were keeping the game so slow (Eze on Andersen the biggest example) and by how physical they were allowed to be by the ref. That frustration led to a weak goal that then allowed Palace to dictate the tempo of the match throughout. The ref helped them significantly with that.
