This is a very good point. To me, we got frustrated by the way they were keeping the game so slow (Eze on Andersen the biggest example) and by how physical they were allowed to be by the ref. That frustration led to a weak goal that then allowed Palace to dictate the tempo of the match throughout. The ref helped them significantly with that. - This was my feeling, I thought we were doing OK but Palace got away with a succession of (being generous) 50/50 decisions, all their early play up to and including the first goal, was the result of the ref letting them get away with stuff. Meanwhile Berge was booked for his first foul.
