Subject: You have to be careful with those, too. We parked in 1 last year that was '1.5 miles from the stadium' - but that route was a windy, cross country one up and and down a load of hills and farmland. The route with a pavement was about 7 miles. To the OP - we've heard stories of the park and ride being just as bad as the train (ie, you're sat on a bus not moving for an hour)
