Subject: You're correct that the difference is in the depth of squad. They've been in the Premier League since 2017/18! All this "we need to be like Brighton and sign young players" stuff ignores that until 20/21 their big signings were almost all in the 24-27 range. Then, once the platform was created they were able to go for the likes of Caicedo and move to the next level. We're 3 years in, where Brighton were in 19/20 when their biggest signing was Adam Webster (24). We're in the right place.
