Subject: All joking aside, I wonder what all this means for our owners. Flex-N-Gate shares have lost a 3rd of their value since Feb 24, though they are still up on what they were a year ago. USD not looking great to GBP.

  • If his "reciprocal" tariffs were indeed just "evening up the tariffs imposed on the US" that would be one thing. But they aren't. They couldn't be bothered, it seems, to actually find out what tariffs were being imposed and instead just took the percentage trade deficit with countries, halved it, called them "reciprocal" and then jacked on 10% to all the others where there's a surplus.   • For someone who works in finance, you don't seem to understand what a reciprocal Tariff is. They have taken US trade deficit with a country/value of imports from that country, and then halved it, to arrive at a tariff. In no way is that imposing 'reciprocal' tariffs.
