Two different things. There's high-energy, high-pressing, all-action. And there's a team that fights for and wins 50/50s whatever style it plays. I'm referring to the latter. Every player on Saturday's team could defend and seemed to relish doing so, with finally an option on the right so Iwobi could go left. So even when under a predictable 2nd half onslaught of the league's top team never we were set up to hold on, with the likes of Reed to come on to continue with that mentality. -- SW6.doc

Not completely, Andreas doesn’t constantly nip at their heels if he isn’t aggressive and high energy, winning a lot of 50/50s and physical duels is partly because you are in better physical condition. Silva said himself we gave a lot energy wise first half and suffered in the second as a result, they created more and we weren’t as aggressive or as quick to loose balls.   - Yeah. Of course we tired. That's what happens when you chase the ball rather than control it. And 3-1 up against the tip side in the league, we will always be chasing the ball. But its a long way from that to the all press craziness of Spurs. We've always, for instance, subbed Andreas. Its just the nature of his game. But Andreas was just one player in a team of battlers and with so many subs and a squad with genuinely two per position it makes sense to play him that way.   - Must admit I felt he left it late. Felt they were creating even before the Diaz chance and the tide was turning and was wanting him to make some subs at the more normal 60/65’ mark, guess it’s bit of rock and a hard place though, if he did that and it went wrong people would say, what’s he doing changing the team after that first half and being 3-1 up.
