  • More than once. In the days of 2 subs only, no one wasted one on a keeper, so Pikey went in goal whenever anything happened. Remember 3 OTTOMH - Hartlepool at home 92/93 after Stannard got sent off very early, Bury at home 91/92 when Stannard got injured (we won 4-2, think we were 3-0 up when the injury happened), and Gillingham away in the autoglass when Gough got sent off, we were down to 9, 3-1 down, Pike saved a penalty and we drew 3-3 (NT) -- Same Old Story, Monday, October 21, 03:28:06pm (NoHost/90.241.124.131)
