Subject: I remember just before he joined us, he was playing for an opponent ( can't remember who - Bolton ??) and he went down really easy. I gave him all sorts of abuse saying I thought northerners were hard etc... joined us about three weeks later....came and said hello aftyer about 3 games....easy done then as I stood in a virtually empty stadium on the H/W line of the enclosure!! Seemed a top bloke and a great tryer.

  • Yes, chipped in with a decent number of goals (am I right in thinking he scored two in one game, which is good for a left-back!)and also rarely got injured the stats show - played 200 times for Fulham in 4 years, according to Wikipedia!!
