$It's where she lies, broken inside.
With no place to go, no place to go to dry her eyes.$
The sobs that moments ago had rocked the medium sized apart became muffled once more as the blonde female gave one last wretched sob then grew silent. Her body continued to contrast with that action of sobs, but no more sound was given, no more tears could fall...she had seemingly run dry. Sniffling slightly as she lay beneath the covers, the silk doing nothing to ease the ache within her body, or more so within her heart. Even the useless chitterling of the pixies could not bring a smile to her face. She was broken...emotions lost all she could feel was pain. There was no anger, it had slipped from her with that of the tears, leaving her lifeless at times and with nothing but this drowning emotion called pain.
She could hear muffled talking within the kitchen, but she paid it no attention. She was sure Max was soothing the frightened Zeth, much like she always did...and for that Alicia as strangely grateful. The redhead was a fallen angel to be sure, and despite the fact that because of her, Zeth's heart would never be her own...she did not hate the other. Perhaps she was jealous even, one could not even tell. She was brave, despite Alicia's weakness, smart despite Alicia's sudden stupidity, and kind where Alicia did not deserve it. Sigh was pressed forth and expelled from slightly chapped and now dried lips. Eyes of two colors red, instead of the jade and sapphire they usually were.
Wait...looking in the mirror upon the wall Alicia thought of something...Jade. Shaking her head a weak laugh was given. Alicia 0 Brillian 2, there was no other explanation for what had just occurred. None, which gave Alicia no doubt that Bri had visited once more...even if it was not her doing this time. Even in death she would haunt those that remained...even in the other realm, she would forever taunt the blonde angel, showing who truly deserved the man dubbed Zeth. But question was did she? Did Bri deserve her over Alicia? Or Alicia over Bri? It was an odd question, but one must have thought it over for sometime. Bri had wanted to use Zeth, while innocent Alicia had been used in a sense by Zeth, odd how the cycle goes don't you think?
Shaking sculpted dial once more a soft moan was issued, her head pounded and all these confusing thoughts did not ease the ache of head or heart. She was in pain. It was that simple and the only one who could mend her broken heart, was the one who broke it. The man so broken himself he did not even wish to see her. Feared her even...sure she could yell and throw things at him, but why. He had made his choice. He would only say he was sorry then move on along and back to that of Max dearest...he had become rather skilled at keeping many women happy. She knew this, even after he swore to behave. Can't teach a dog new tricks, even young ones anymore it seemed. For once set in their ways, they stayed that way...why had she ever left the underworld that night?
It was this thought that a smile actually occurred. For she did remember, a handsome male, fashionably clothed and sure of himself. She had ignored him while others swooned and still he sought her out. "I'd like a straw..." The faintest of smiles forming upon her lips as she recalled those words. He had sent her after a straw; a stupid straw and she had done it as it was her job. But that was only the beginning oh indeed twas only the beginning. He came back after that, more often, and finally began to work there...and still she tried to keep her distance. But while her body kept away, her heart began to break the walls they held towards him...admiration forming and in time interest, followed by a mere crush and swiftly to something more.
She had nearly killed him in her temperaments at the subway. Yet he had quickly forgiven her. They had fought side by side against Brillian when she seeked to kill him at a time. Or was it herself? There were plenty of both I assure you. Yet it was the honeymoon her mind soon shifted to. The beautiful pearly beach, the pleasant floral smell and her first experience with the pixies. Oh how awful they had been.
Smiling now, no matter how weak, Alicia stood. Standing by the window her mind lost in the past, while her heart still bleed about the present. She was not fine...she was merely pretending. Hoping what she felt before would wash away what she felt now. The loss of her child to Bri, the cursed kiss, the jade hued eye she now possessed, her immortal being. All these she wished to be gone yet not. For through them she had 'come stronger. But the straw had finally broken the camel’s back...would she ever be whole again.
That my friend's rests in only one pair of hands...Zeth's
$Broken inside...$
