I really enjoy that this site allows people to have spirited debates without getting mean or angry. Thanks to everyone for that.

Good points about the KH and whether Paul or Leto fit the description more accurately. I guess I've always followed any consideration about it with the thought that the BGs never really got their Kwisatz Haderach, so the KH never really existed. Some people think differently, and their arguments have made me reconsider my assumptions.

However, I remain convinced that Paul did not have other memory. The quote that Butterfly provided shows that when he senses the male other memory, Paul is disoriented and on unfamiliar ground. Why would he react like that if he already had other memory? That just doesn't make sense. And you can't argue that he is disoriented because he's seeing it through Leto's eyes. If that was the case, he would have been disoriented from the moment Leto made contact with him. Leto was showing him something that he had never experienced.
Of course you can assume that he did, and that's fine. You can also assume that Paul wore women's underwear, and there's nothing in the text that contradicts it. ;)
