Paul IS the KH, he says so to his own mother, proves it to Mohiam, is refered to as such by Irulan and others. I, like you, just don't think he had O.M. and like you I'd need a quote from the book to show he did.

btw I'm pretty sure he at some point became full mentat, just not sure at what point whether during the desert crossing with his mother, or after the spice trance that knocked him silly.
