I have a few ideas and theories about where Frank may have been going, beyond the obvious Omnius/machine threat.

Here's a recap of a previous post of mine:
"One thing that has intrigued me about the BG's discovery of the Axlotl technology is that they could begin to explore the technology themselves, using the internal body chemistry talents they have had since before Paul even existed. So maybe a group made up of BGs, Tleilaxus and Spacing Guild navigators could develop the ability to internally produce spice using body chemistry, and navigate. A human ship! It would take all three working together, the Tleilaxu for the Spice, the BGs for the body chemistry, and the Guild navigators to show how to fold space. Imagine being able to travel through space of your own free will...Now make the human ship out of someone with the Atreides genes and you have a no-ship! Without needing machines or worms..."

This idea has really grabbed me. I have also considered the idea that Sheanna could command an army of worms telepathically, and invisibly to prescience, due to the Atreides genes present in both her and the worms. But what if an army could be "engineered" in the axlotl tanks that can become these human no-ships AND contain genes from the worms that would link telepathically to Sheeana? You'd have a freely mobile, telepathic army invisible to prescience. Take that, Omnius!

But Sheeana has fled into the void. Maybe she will encounter scattered Tleilaxu that could help her build this army. Now imagine her and her army approaching the original "known universe" toward a commander Teg who is the only person with the ability to see no-ships. He would see her coming, even though the machines can't, and could set a trap for the machines.

I also feel the cyborg decision was also a BIG deal, and may somehow help humankind to fight the machines.

And the face dancers! That's where Frank really threw a curve. Somehow they are involved, no doubt. But how? I have no real ideas on this one...I'll have to think about it.

And remember the one cymek that took off into space never to be heard from again? Well, maybe we'll be hearing from them in Dune 7...

And what about the new technology brought by the HMs, and the transformation that their probe wrought in Teg? This could be exploited to create others with incredible abilities. And speaking of incredible abilities, is Idaho another KH?

I would love to hear other people's crazy ideas!
