The Laxatives have failed to dislodge the Pisspots from the throne this week in Saturday's RFL match of the round.
Super stopper Brett Kirk plugged the ELS defence allowing last year's grand finalist to hold on in a classic dash for the line at Optarse Oval.
"That was a relief," ELS president Piggssaarrrrrrsssee said yesterday. "We almost didn't make it, and if we tried to hold on any longer we would have been absolutely in the shit."

Former RFL powerhouse the Party Animals were left used and abused after a come from behind win by the Navy, yesterday.
McHales mob pulled the Animals' pants down and gave their long time rivals a "Didakking" in one of the Party boys' worst performance in the club's proud history.
"They just Lade down and took it," Jock McHale said yesterday.
"We held Ball for most of the game and they eventually just succumbed."
