If it is an open casket type funeral, I think I would probably leave her home. If it is a closed casket, I would take her. I think she would have a very hard time undeerstanding her "Grandma" in the casket and not moving.

I personally don't see a BIG problem with taking the children to a funeral, I know others feel differently. My children have both been to funerals, but they were both young....Nick wasn't even a year and Elizabeth was a little over a year.

I hope tihs helps in some way and I am sending my prayers to all lives this wonderful woman touched. She is in peace now and healthy again.
