Subject: Is my 5 y/o the only one having horrible tantrums????

Amanda is now 18 mos. old and has entered the terrible two's head on. She has an ear infection on top of it all, so she is fussy and had a blow up for about 45 minutes today. Well, tonight we were headed upstairs and Katie wanted to open the gate, but wouldn't do it. So, DH did it. She had a meltdown! She kicked and hit on the steps and screamed and cried. It was almost scary! She screamed and screamed. I don't know if she thinks Amanda gets attention from this so she is giving it a try, or if there is something wrong with the child! We went to beginner's night at her school tonight, so maybe she was just wound up and tired. It is sort of scaring me. Is Katie abnormal????

HELP!

Cheryl
