He was always darting about everywhere due to his boundless amount of energy, but he was aware that the mare was weighted down by the foal curled up within her. Against what he would�ve done to any other horse that was unwilling to play, he simmers down and simply nips at her forelock instead of coaxing her into a game of tag with him. With him, you�d know for sure he was sick either physically or emotionally if things were quiet around the barn, but for special occasions he could control himself, and being around a pregnant mare appeared to be one of them. At least with this particular mare it was, more so because she hadn�t turned into a overprotective, grouchy female, but had calmed down into a quite appealing companion after the first few seconds.
