Subject: What the HELL is a Boerboel

Folks, I have read these boards about working dogs and what makes a real dog until I can't help but want to throw up!!! So, let Me ask you folks a few questions. Do You want your BB with the head and jaws these dogs have to know how to grab a human by the arms and pull them down?? Do You want that dog prepared to rip the head off anybody out there that You don't like?? In other words, Do You want to have have to put Your beloved dog down because it showed undue aggression to a human or a human's property????? Does anyone out there with a BB doubt that if Your' child or wife cryed out in fear that Your BB would not take care of that problem without hours and hours of training??? This whole working dog CRAP is just THAT CRAP!! I love My Boerboels like I love My life and I spend time trying to get them to ignore ASSHOLES, but do you any of you think they would if I asked for protection?? Does anyone that knows Terry moran and his wife Deborah have a seconds doubt that if she cryed out in fear or worry that either Buddy, Basjan, or even Maybe from his kennel would not find a way to protect that woman?? I know You would be a eat up fool if You did!!!Our Boerboels are our Boerboels, and they are what they are and have always been. They don't have to pull a lot of weight or play games to tell us what they are and how they feel about us!! It is the dumb ASS that gets in the way that will find that out the hard way!! What we need from people is an effort to breed healthy dogs/BOERBOELS, not another type of german sheppard or any other dog with a reputation. A boerboel if able will do it's job and I defy anyone with less than 2 heads to show me otherwise. A boerboel must be healthy first and if it is a true boerboel, the rest is natural and will follow. So, just realize what you have when you own a boerboel, and just stop listening to and worrying about all this other absolute BULL SHIT about test for this and that. This whole line of shit is just a waste and gets in the way of us who want to improve the health and heredity of our's and other's Boerboels. OPEN your eyes and see the light!!! Ed Davis
