However .... it's one of his kids or the other an average of 1 day a week for 2-4 hours. That is simply too much in my opinion. As for talking to him about it, it won't work. He's technically higher up the food chain than me and what I think won't matter at all. Soooo....another associate told me to just quietly get up a leaver the office for a few hours the next time it occurs and when asked, respond with a calm statement of how the kids shouldn't be here.
