Cornell #1 of course, in the much weaker half of the bracket with Ohio State, Penn State, UNC. They get to clean up the Albany/Siena winner in round 1.

Princeton #3 on the other side with Maryland, Duke, Syracuse. Harvard opens against the #6 ACC champ Orange, possibly the hottest team in the country beside Big Red. Tigers have Towson in essentially a 3/14 first round game, then if they win the Cuse/Crimson winner.

Only way Red and Tigers play again would be for NC.

The last three games opponents have jumped on the P women, although that was hardly the only problem against Y. The first two times they fought back, once to tie Penn only to give up the final 3 goals and then to Brown where they came back to win. Cleaning up bad starts would be a nice turnaround.

While I have no issues with Cornell’s draw, the OP left out 2-time defending champion ND in the listing of teams on Cornell’s side of the bracket While ND has been underwhelming at times, they are still a dangerous team.

Yes ND is going to be a tough opponent in that bracket no question.
