Good job by Yale, and good luck to both in the playoffs.

Go Quakers.

A share? Yale WON the championship ON THE FIELD, just the way it should be. Last year, a 3 way share when one team beat the other two? Silly.

Dartmouth has no fear of Yale

Harvard has no fear of Dartmouth

Yale has no fear of Harvard.

I would not have believed it had I not seen it with my own two eyes. For sure, I thought that Yale could win. But to get out strong and then keep a foot on the accelerator for 59 minutes? Very surprising.

GG's observation above, while difficult to explain in any rigorous manner, is backed by empirical evidence. Certain rivalries in this conference do seem to have personalities.

Last week, I mentioned to a friend that we have seen an inferior Princeton team play Harvard tough year after year and in many years win outright as the underdog. Further, when Princeton is the better team, they beat Harvard.

A weaker Princeton against Yale? Almost never. Inferior Tiger teams can't seem to play up against the Bulldogs. At least since 1981.

And GG's use of the word "fear"? I don't know if that's the word I would choose, but I've lived through a long stretch when Harvard seemed to overachieve against Yale and now the tide has turned. Harvard is not Harvard in Week 10. Yale is.

In this first year of the Ivies in the playoffs, it’s great to have a team playing at its peak representing the league and making some noise.

Good luck and congratulations.

Yale deserved the win. frankly, they are the more talented and tenacious team. Harvard had quietly been showing cracks in the foundation all year even if they were able to cover them up with a couple big/key plays here or there that inflated their victory margins. Then the Penn game happened..now this. Good Harvard team, but they were never the monster that people were making them out to be. I was not stunned by the result yesterday

If Yale doesn't get saddled with an early ND matchup they can open some non-IL eyes.

And let's hope Harvard is also rewarded for a fine overall season.

Finally, let's hope the selection committee doesn't play games by matching them up in the early rounds.

Attendance at the Bowl yesterday was 52,000.

Best I can tell, that's the first time in a while that an Ivy team has broken the 50K mark in attendance for a game (which is another way of saying that it's been a while since Yale has gotten 50K at the Bowl for The Game).
