Subject: biofuel substitutes

Hey,

Now that we're living aboard Macha (woo hoo! yeah!) I've been thinking about trying biodiesel or veggie oil in the Antarctic heater. Anyone tried it? Any words of advice? The Dickinson site seems to indicate that it can burn biodiesel with no modifications.

By the same token, anyone know of any bio-kerosene alternatives?

It's rainy and blustery in NorCal this time of year, so we've had plenty of opportunity to ponder our fossil-fuel usage... :-)
