Where is the bargaining committee? We
haven't heard a thing. There haven't
been any articles in the Perspective
from B-Committee members in months.. Mel
promised that he would distribute weekly
reports like he did four years ago, but
we haven't seen anything yet. Members on
the shop floor don't like being kept in
the dark. It doesn't encourage
confidence and trust. What is
happenning? I know that the committee
agreed to confidentiality but this is
ridiculuos. We deserve information. I
believe management wants to change work
rules, classifications, vacation time
off procedure, overtime procedure, job
prefernce, etc.... They got pissed when
I distributed their demands. Far more
pissed than the info really warranted.
Unless there was more truth to my
preposterous interpretations than I
imagined. The local contract impacts our
day to day life. The local contract can
make our work more comfortable and
compatible, or it could be hell. I don't
think we should have to give anything
up. Do you? We are making more injectors
than ever wi
