Hi! I'm a girl from Italy. What can i say? I can understand you! I think that everyone who saw lost & delirious and spent a minute to think about it and maybe cried can understand you!
My story is still "behind the curtain" but it's the most important of my life. I'm 24, my girlfriend is 23. We've been best friends since i was 17, we know everything about each other, we read in our mind even without words and we share our lives so very deeply. I couldn't lie to her even if i try but i keep the most important secret in my mind for years. And she did the same. More than one year ago, i could not stand anymore, i was going crazy 'cause my feelings were coming out as a storm...i thought i could not lie, no more. And one day, in the morning (after we slept together because her parents were away) she kissed me and everything was said. We spent an afternoon telling all the things we kept inside and showing secret letters! After that we kissed all night...it was the most wonderful night of my life. Then we started our relationship as lovers. A few people know about us, a few friends we can trust. She told everything to her family (she's really like Pauli of L&D) but i can't. My family is very catholic and they are of very restricted views. We are in the country of the pope! Here homosesuality is considered a perversion in the name of a cristian moral that church men (men not God!!!) have built. I'm very cristian too and the God that they made me know is not evil, He couldn't never stop to love one of his sons or daughters only because he loves! It's only love. I'm only a girl who loves a girl, as you said. That's all. I don't know if i'm lesbian or bi and i think it's not very important now. I think there's no choice you make about it, you simply fall in love. I'm only asking the freedom to love the only one on the earth that made me feel this way...happy! I'm happy with her, she wants me as i am and my dream is to live with her for the rest of my life. I think it's very easy to understand...but every day i face a reality in which people look at us as strange phenomenons or animals in a zoo if we take by the hand or kiss, they laugh, they even took photos!I feel as my rights are stolen! And sometimes i really hate all the world.
Your story is very touching. Trusting again is not easy and maybe some loves happen one time in life...but you have the right to be happy. If your boyfriend really cares about you, he will understand and accept you.
