Hi. I was interested in your post about the Atkins diet on the iVillage message board & have a question for you. I need to lose at least 6 stone, have extensive disabilities (from a car accident)& am unable to exercise, & I am unable to follow a 'normal' low-fat high-carbohydrate diet because a. I have hyperinsulinism; 2.I have hypoglycemia; 3. I have coeliac disease; 4. I have a lactase deficiency; 5, I have ADD; 6; I have IBS. I would be interested to know what you could suggest for my problem that even my doctor, dietition & hospital nutritionist can't resolve. This is a genuine enquiry because I am at my wits end. Before my accident I was very fit: I was a full-time nurse, mother of 4 teenagers, was a competition dancer & I used to climb mountains, ride a bike & run everywhere. Any ideas would be very welcome. Thanks, Hannah
