The chameleon changes it's color, in an effort to relate to a younger demographic, Torrance will do and say anything. He's a charlatan politician with big ambition, and low moral capacity. Being a schoolteacher and a hack Mayor doesn't qualify you for leadership! He is an opportunist, and liar at best. His snakish ways have been prevalent throughout his fledgeling political career. The city will be much better when he retires from teaching and politics. He, amongst others on the city council will not be missed when their terms are up. Loscerbo has him pegged right in terms of his actions, and as a result his character is in question. He (Harvey) in typical political scoundrel fashion, says he didn't approve his likeness or image to be used in that video. Ha, he didn't expect someone to spot him in his natural element. What you see is what you get in regards to Torrance, always looking for attention, now you have it sir. On a personal note, I despise public officials who bend and contort rules to their benefit. To me he fits that mold well, everytime an A list politician comes to town, or the surrounding area, he's in it for a photo opportunity. As a lifelong resident, his carpetbagging ass needs to go back to PK, where he can't even get on a telephone pole flyer. So quick with defunding public safety in Newburgh, laying off essential personnel, but out in the street making videos with criminals, can't make this stuff up.
How is that overtime curb in PD and FD going with diminished manpower? How can you get OT under control with no workforce? Who the hell is going to be a part time Police Chief in this City? Let alone a police commissioner! What are we doing? Setting up a large department admin structure, for a mid city department. That template is for Westchester, Nassau and Suffolk county type population and money! Newburgh implements hair brain ideas with no thought whatsoever on how it will work after implementation. Shooting from the hip with success, only works in movies.
