So much for the City Council holding City Manager Venning accountable. The midHudson news.com reports that the City Council issued a joint statement doubling down on Mr. Venning’s attack on District Attorney Hoovler. Did the City Council and the city’s new PR firm even see the Channel 12 report before issuing these ridiculous press releases? The PR firm appears to be a new player in city politics. It is a classic case of the tail wagging the dog.
