Subject: Pedestrian Killed in Hit and Run in front of Hudson Taco Sunday

Did anyone see anything about this anywhere? I saw it on some local blog but nothing in the news, in the City of Newburgh postings. Crosswalk light on one side was damaged by a reckless driver months ago and never replaced. Drivers continue to believe that road is a thruway. It's a state road. Where are our state representatives on this? Why hasn't the crosswalk light been repaired in an emergency fashion? I drive 30 on that road and if someone tailgates me I go slower until they get the hint. Until something is done, all of us should be doing that.
