They picked him for a reason, maybe it is unknown to the populous, but he was handpicked for that position.
In regards to city government, we are definitely lacking in guidance through these shootings. Very rare to have such brazen daytime gunfire in such proximity to the school. I have been a lifelong resident, and this area was sort of a no fly zone in respect to guns and or gun violence. Shows how unsafe the city is. Maybe we need more State police patrols, or orange County sheriff patrols. The school district isn't bad, it's the handling of adverse situations that is the problem. A clear and direct message needs to be sent that no guns or violence of that magnitude will be accepted. It's definitely these youths who are at a disadvantage behind these strings of gun violence and discharges of illegal firearms. A designated unit for the school needs to be formed to combat this growing problem. Spring is approaching, and it only will go downhill from there
