Sometimes it is difficult beyond belief to let go of comrades held so dear - you guys probably thought we were bad pennies after awhile when the event was over as we kept wandering by. I will never forget Franklin...and I think it very important that in our vicinity, the Confederate soldier was given his due in thought, word, deed and appearance.

We survivors of the Franklin battle did not have to fake the sense of loss not having you around the fire that night.

And Patrick, if you are with us you will never be a mess of one. All for one,
