As usual, a great suggestion from Silas! For those of you pards who don't know Mark Tackitt (Silas), he is one of the hobbies' foremost experts on drill, from school of the soldier up through division. His new book, Guides Post, has incorporated School of the Soldier, Company and Division, as well as all the instructions for skirmishers, in one volume that fits in the knapsack or haversack. It is just what we needed and compliments Dom dal Bello's volumes nicely. You can find the book at Orchard Hill and Jersey Skilletlicker.

Mark was unable to make Mansfield but will be at Franklin, much to our benefit.
