Subject: Re: Federals at Mansfield (DO WE WANT TO CONSIDER GALVANIZING?)
In reply to: Mark Timms 's message, "Federals at Mansfield" on 02/24/04 7:43:21am

This is lousy news. I hope the ratio isn't five to one in favor of the Rebs...We get that all the time up here in WA state (which is why I have yet to wear gray at an event in Washington; only Oregon).

Is there any thought towards some of us galvanizing as Feds for the P/H battle if they're terribly outnumbered? It's not a big deal at Mansfield...Taylor had more men there, anyway, due to Banks' ridiculously poor march dispositions...But at the P/H reenactment it will look silly if there are tons more Rebs than Yanks.

I'm not trying to open a can of worms...Just putting out the option. Obviously, we don't split the company, no matter what.

Any thoughts? (Cap'n Coop, 1st Sgt.?)
