Subject: Just fumbling around here...

I may be wrong, but I have been thinking on a few points here.

1) Mat is going to marry Tuon, right? She will (or so it seems) be Empress, eventually. Then there's this thing I read, I can't remember where exactly but it said that the last Emperor of the Seanchan screwed up things, I think. That doesn't have much to do with the point I'm trying to make but what if Mat ends up Emperor of the Seanchan, somehow...? And he's on Rand's side...Just a possibility.

2) Perhaps Olver is a reborn form of Gaidal Cain? I mean, just before Birgitte was ripped from Tel'aran'rhiod she said she thought Gaidal had been spun out. And since time passed differently in T'a'r and the real world, he could have been a years old already. And Gaidal is certainly not pretty, nor is Olver. And Birgitte was worrying about how reborn Gaidal would be wandering around, looking for something and not knowing what it was, but it would be her? Well, anyway, he's met her already. I dunno. But if he is it could add a whole new twist. Another point: why would RJ bother to keep Olver in the stories if he wasn't gonna be used for something?

3) I believe that somewhere in one of the books, Rand was thinking this or he said it aloud, about how "he who pulls it out shall follow after" (I'm sure that ain't the exact wording, but you get the point) That was somewhere near when he shoved Callandor into the Stone, and I believe he meant Callandor. Then, in the 7th or 8th book he had Jahar Narishma get Callandor for him. I may just be pulling something from nothing here, but personally, I think it would very interesting if this actually meant something.
