Home. Finally. It had been a long few days away from Paradise Isle. First, the culmination of his battle with Adrian, then his successful return of Moonlight to her lands, and finally, he had secured his mother and sister's freedom from Dark Evergreens. All in all, a very productive time. Now, however, he was exhausted. Exhausted and wounded. The gaping gash on his side still dripped blood and it throbbed along with the beat of his heart, a constant, rhythmic ache. The wound would heal, the pain would fade, the scar would be camoflauged by his sorrel coat but his immediate need to know how the residents of the Isle had fared during his absense couldn't be put off. A high-pitched whinney burst forth from his throat, a little hoarse and breathy to be sure, but still clear and recognizable.
