bay juvenile makes his way warily along the beach,
pistons trudging through the wet sand as the water
flows at its own rhythmic pace with each wave.
a large wave of water knocks him onto the beach,
and he rises again, with some struggle,
to move on and shake the wet sand from his coat.
as he advances off the beach and towards green land
he observes other equines. this seemed as a good a place
as any, right? none of his familiars could possibly find
here, such a long way from "home".
