Subject: Why wasnt it a penalty try?

In the Cowboys v Warriors game last week....

The incident where the NZ winger got 10 in the bin for a professional foul, clearly deserved after he stopped the cowboys winger from scoring, which he would have...

WHY WASN'T IT A PENALTY-TRY?

My understanding is that if he would have scored had the infringement not have occurred, a penalty-try is to awarded.

If it warranted a sin-binning, why didn't it warrant a penalty-try?

Can somebody explain it? or was it just a mistake?
